Searching for the ideal rental property can be time consuming with work or study commitments. To reduce the length of time it takes to find a property firstly create a list of wants and needs. You will not always find a property that fits your criteria therefore be prepared to compromise on items on your list. In a current market with low vacancy rates and high tenant demand there is now more of a need to compromise your less important wants and needs.
Consider the suburb in which you wish to live in and the price you are prepared to pay. Time is lost by renters searching in areas that do not suit their budget.
Allow for the costs of Security Deposits, first months rent in advance, truck hire, removals costs, electricity, phone, gas and internet.
Once you find your ideal property and you are approved you will be required to sign a lease agreement, pay your first calendar months rent, security deposit which will be lodged with the Residential Tenancies Bond Authority. At the time of collecting keys a Condition Report will be provided outlining the condition of the premises prior to you moving in. Moss Management wish you every success in your search.
